Back On Track, Sort Of

Well, Monday's Bad Gods clip is a rerun, sort of. It's a shorter, animated version of a site I put up on YTMND a while back. But I think this is better, and more importantly I'm no longer behind.

Wow, I never realized how much Charlie-Brown-in-shades looks like Lore-Brand-Comics-Lore sans goatee.

It is better than the YTMND version, but it lacks annotation. I was a little sad to see a "rerun" after waiting through last week, but I'm more glad you're feeling okay again.

Lore, where did you get the audio for that? 'Cause I very much need to have the whole thing.

Or did you mix it yourself?

1. Actually, the artwork for Lore Brand Comics was originally inspired by Schultz and Terry Colon, while reaching the level of neither.

2. Yeah, this was actually one of the first clips I made, so it lacks some of the features of the later clips. I didn't run it for a while because, well like I said it's a rerun, but I ended up working on the video podcast and an upcoming tag feature instead of working on a backlog, so here we are.

3. The song is performed by Gary Hoey, and it's on the Endless Summer II soundtrack.

But if it is a good rerun, that is okay. Too bad you can't team Charlie up with Valhallan, the Nordic God of Rock.

Simple, but hi-larious.

Does anyone else hear the opening door sound effect twice?

Hey man, where'd Table of Malcontents go? It's not listed on the Wired Blogs page any more...

Okay, I'll admit my moronity... where the heck are the furshlugginer annotations?

Re: the first comment, this Bad Gods reminds me of my favorite Lore strip: "You look like the main character in 'It's a Poetry Reading, Charlie Brown.'"
