Vintage "Acrobats"

This doesn't quite fit in with what I'm trying to put up on Table of Malcontents, but it's pretty funny, so I'm putting it up here instead.

That's great. Who are these people?

Wall hack! Cheat!!!

*cough*

Sorry. That was pretty cool, but i "got" it a bit to early to apreciate it. Great stuff anyway.
Next up, Stand, by REM:

Honestly? I think I liked it more *because* I got it early.

I don't mind when people do this kind of stunt. Like those Matrix Ping-pong players on that japanese tv show...

I really appreciate acts that require skill and strength.  Watching people roll around, doing a shoddy imitation of such, just didn't strike me as funny.

I guess I'm just dense. I'd assumed they were vertical, but were using hidden supports.

Then I read the comments and smack my forehead because its bloody obvious that they're on the ground and shot from above. One day I'll be smart, I know it.

Sure, but can they climb a wall to fight a special guest villain?

Anyone got any credits on this? It looks very much like it may be a Georges Melies (best known for "Trip to the Moon")film from between 1898 and 1905 . . . colourized of course. But he did colourize some films, and the structure is unsettlingly Melies.

So . . . yeah. Any ideas?
