I really like the Boondocks, it's probably one of the most well done cartoons that I've seen in a while and it's nice of Cartoon Network to move away from the sort of sorry animation (that one with the Squids) and stuff sucked out from the marrow of Japan (although the stylistic influence is there in the Boondocks, which makes it a good stepping stone).
Plus the episode where Riley and his friends try to kidnap Oprah is classic.
Maybe it's Pooh's little hat, maybe it's the punchline, but the whoel comic kinda makes me think of the tag group Knitta Please. See? Let's face it, how can you not love a knit graffiti group that tags with fuzzy knit goodness. Tiny little sweaters on Jaguar hood ornaments, car antennas, tree trunks, that sort of thing.
I actually had a big bit about how Tigger is the symbol of the Black Man in the Pooh stories, and he reflects the typical paternalistic racist views of England in Milne's time, but I figure that's someone else's schtick. You can pretty much fill in the blanks yourself if you give it some thought.

I just blew cereal out my nose.
I love you, Lore.

Excellent, and much more publicly acceptable than singing "The Wonderful Thing About..."
Even if you ARE the only one.
Bravo.

Incidentally, is that image non-zero-chanceable? Pooh's copyright is on questionable grounds from what I understand.

You are a wise man to choose "Classic Pooh" over the "new and imPoohved" version.

Hey Lore,
This is not related to the post, but anyway...
I have been reading your stuff since 2002 and it was rather popular even then. So why is it that you have no comments till March 2006 !?!

Oh Lore.
You so crazy.

Lovin' it!
In fact, if you replace Tigger with Tigga in the story, you get this race-allegorical tale of honey and woe!

To answer your question, Rupin, I believe it's because he hasn't had a comments function until March 2006.

Oh OK.
