Kotaku and Bad Gods
I'm rounding out my steady writing work with a part-time gig at Kotaku, contributing to their video game blog. It's really nice, I must say, to have finally reached a certain level of reliable writing income. Thanks, those of you who have read, linked to, and otherwise supported my work.
In related news, Bad Gods is continuing to get short shrift as I adapt to my new, ever-changing schedule. My current plan is to finish up the last five I need to do to have a full six weeks of updates, then run them as a sort of mini-series. What then? I don't know.

No prob.
I'm going to say this is from all of us so that no one else needs to write it, but really it's only from me, and I'm only pretending to share it.
By the way, if you don't mind sharing, what sort of non-writing work have you had to do during all this time I've been mooching entertainment?

Dude, you rule. And at the same time, you and your Brunching buddy are DIRECTLY to blame for the fact that for the last five years I've also refused to take a proper job and have been trying to make a living writing goofy shit about movies in particular and life in general. Talk about setting a bad example! Plus, I'll never EVER be as funny as you! I hate you, Lore! You ruined my life!
Well, ok, maybe that Joe Lavin-character shares part of the blame. But mostly YOU.

Well, I've had writing work, just not enough to live off of. Aside from that I've brought in some money from Google ads and Colette and I make and sell the T-shirts and mugs you see for sale at Lore Brand Comics, Non-Zero Chance, and the various Name Decoder sites.
We're still selling the shirts and I'm still cashing Google's checks, so this is a partially symbolic change, but it's an important one.
